One of the ways that SOS stands out from the competition is our ability to guarantee ample fuel supplies all year—no matter what weather Mother Nature brings.
Even after flooding from Hurricane Irene caused severe damage to our Tuxedo Park storage facility three years ago, we always had more than enough fuel available to handle demand, including throughout the extreme cold last winter.
Our Tuxedo Park fuel storage facility has reopened this fall, with an improved design and structural changes. It has a capacity of more than 180,000 gallons of oil and diesel fuel, so we can take advantage of bulk pricing as we store up for winter demand. This allows us to pass on savings to our customers and help protect them from winter price spikes.
We also inject a special additive to keep fuel systems running cleaner and give diesel engines enhanced performance. During the winter we protect our fuel from gelling in temperatures as low as 20 degrees below zero.
Not all companies can offer this kind of security and savings, and we are proud that we can.
